Last week, a Louisiana man held up a doughnut shop with a laser pointer. The assailant made off with the cash from the safe and is still at large. While a hand gun, knife or baseball bat might be more threatening than a laser pointer, one should not discount the effectiveness of presentation tools as deadly weapons. For instance, a robber could bore a victim to death with a Power Point presentation.
