There was some concern that last week’s tsunami might have wiped out entire tribes on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Apparently at least some of the tribesmen are alive and well since they fired arrows at an Indian Coast Guard helicopter dropping food and water.

The BBC goes on to say that some of these tribes are “stuck in the stone age.” However, scientists are examining how their stone age warning system can be used to predict other earthquakes. This examination must be made all the more difficult by the above mentioned arrows.
