Updates have been few and far between lately. I have a load of stuff to write about but little time to write. I promise I’ll get back to posting on at least a semi-daily basis this week. Since today is officially the first day of the week, I guess I should start today…

Here are a few pictures from my California trip, which I took a couple weeks ago. None of these pictures are especially good, I think I need to make a point of taking better pictures. It also wouldn’t hurt if I knew how to sharpen them up a bit in Photoshop although most of these are beyond Photoshop’s help.

Forgive me as I am a couple weeks late in posting this, but I did not want to let this go unpublished. The Empire State AIDS Ride was a great experience! I am so glad to have been a part of the first of many ESAR events. This year I experienced the ride from the crew’s perspective as I drove the gear truck and helped set up and break down camp. The riders and crew were wonderful, I can’t think of a better group of people to spend a week crossing New York State with. I had so many great experiences, I could spend hours writing about them, but since I don’t have hours, I’ll keep it short and sweet.

Thank you to everybody who supported us with their donations, thanks to the riders for having the courage to get out there and do this, thanks to the rest of the crew for keeping everybody safe and pointed in the right direction, special thanks to Marty and the others who planned and organized this event, and last but not least, thanks to my friends on the camp crew, Bernard, Evelyn, Matt, Mike and Pat, it was great working with all of you.

I’ve posted my pictures below, although, I didn’t take as many as I would have liked. There are more pictures available on Eric’s, and Matt’s sites. There should also be some pictures available on the ESAR site soon.
